No guesswork

How your estimate works.

Final pricing depends on the scope of work, debris volume, materials, access and disposal needs. We review your project and explain the proposed charges before work begins.

The $120 is the minimum service charge, not an additional charge added to every job.

For completed service jobs, the first 25 miles of one-way travel from our base to your job are included in the service price. Additional travel is $2.00 per mile beyond that allowance, measured one way—not round trip. Your estimate identifies the starting location, route and any travel charge before you book.

For example, a job 40 miles from our base has 15 additional miles, for a $30 travel charge.

Trailer hauling may be quoted at $2.85 per mile when the load and transport needs warrant. Any trailer rate, route and billable miles will be agreed to beforehand. It replaces the standard travel charge for that trip; the two mileage rates are not added together.

Standard free estimates do not incur a mileage fee.

Free & without obligation

Our free estimates policy.

Standard phone, photo and on-site estimates are free and without obligation. Send a few photos, your location and a description of the work, or call to discuss an on-site visit.

Extensive assessments requiring detailed planning, specialized measurements or significant additional work may require a $95 assessment fee. Any fee must be disclosed and agreed to beforehand. It is credited toward the project if you book within 30 days of the assessment.

From garage and estate cleanouts to light demolition estimates, we’ll explain the next steps before you commit.

The right equipment for the job

Dumpster planning & hauling.

For larger cleanouts, customers generally arrange and pay for a rental dumpster directly. During our on-site estimate, North Star Hauling will determine the expected volume of debris and recommend an appropriate dumpster size.

We also operate with a Ram pickup and trailer for hauling jobs where that equipment is suitable.

Dumpster delivery, pickup, rental charges, weight overages and disposal restrictions are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise specified in writing. The rental provider confirms final container capacity and acceptable materials.

Let’s make room for what’s next.
